The quilt measures 98"x66",with center made up of 1-1/2" basted hexagons, all hand pieced. It has a 7" double border attached by machine, but totally hand-quilted. It took over 10 months working an average five hour day. After quilting for 18 years I finally decided to enter it in our Lake Co. Fair and was immensely pleased to have received a Blue Ribbon and Best of Show Pink Rosette. I spent a month receiving therapy on my shoulder afterward. My friends call me a little crazy.
